Overview:

Support for the Aging Community in Central Kentucky

With funding from the Beulah S. Mays Charitable Endowment, Blue Grass Community Foundation seeks to support emerging and unmet needs within the field of aging in Central Kentucky. The Community Foundation is focused on supporting new and/or expanding initiatives that provide aid to individuals impacted by the debilitating effects of aging, including those projects or programs that address the effects on the families of those suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and other age-related challenges. The Community Foundation will accept proposals submitted by individual organizations/agencies, as well as those submitted by a consortium of two or more partnering organizations/agencies that are working collaboratively to address these community needs. This opportunity is made available exclusively to those nonprofits and agencies whose primary mission is focused on the aging community, dementia, and other age-related issues. The suggested grant request amount is $40,000 per one-year grant cycle. Proposals for grants less than $20,000 will not be considered. Proposals for multiple-year funding will be considered.
